What was your inspiration?

I wanted to design a quilt that symbolises my son does a double degree.

What are you most proud of?

I'm so proud that I can reflect my thoughts on this quilt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you want a project for a weekend this is it, very easy to make.

Your creativity is outstanding. Quilting is great therapy, Hope it helps relieve your stress. Care giving is a difficult job, I know it all too well. Happy quilting

- First I sorted the wiscasset fabric collection in red and blue tones. - Then I cut out enough 4 squares in red and blue tones of fabric. This way I was able to alternate the colours. - 4 half square triangles were made out of Bella solid naturals and Wiscasset charm pack using sandwich method. (I used 5 squares instead of 4 7/8 x 4 7/8 to get 4 1/2 squares, because it was easy to measure, cut and make adjustments if I made any mistakes) - The rows were done with half square triangle and red and blue squares alternatively. - Sashing was done by 2 natural bella solid - The border was done with 6. - Quilted using stich in the ditch method. - The border was stippled - Binding was done by 2 natural bella solid.
