What was your inspiration?

A friend of mind did a hand print and I just loved how it looked so wanted to try this for myself and really enjoyed doing this drawing. I worked on it just a little bit each day while I was having my morning coffee.

What are you most proud of?

These hand doodles really are wonderful gifts and they people I've made them for treasure them and have them framed. It's made them very happy to have such a personal drawing.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

don't over think it - just trace your hand and go for it. If you have not done doodles before you can draw in a grid or even the whole design first with a technical pencil and then just draw over it with a fine tip sharpie. This is free form random thought drawing so just enjoy yourself. These look great when left as black and white too.

Yes I use water color pencils to color them, it won't cover your black lines and gives them just a touch of color
