What was your inspiration?
My dad had asked me if I could make a doo rag for him to wear at work. So I looked at some of the free patterns and couldn't figure it out. I ended up drawing out my own pattern and working out the kinks over time.
What are you most proud of?
That the Tampa Bay chapter of Conkerr Cancer is getting ready to start using my patterns to make doo rags for children with cancer. I feel so unbelievably blessed to be able to help those children, even in such a small way. My design will bring them comfort. :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't give up, just keep trying!!!
