What was your inspiration?

Don't Look Now! Her work is phenomenal, I just love it. and since I took Wendy Butler Burns' machine quilting course (and got a Bernina 550 QE with the BSR), it was fun to practice free motion quilting.

What are you most proud of?

I'm super proud of the entire project even though I still need a lot of practice and it's certainly not perfect. I had so much fun creating this!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Enjoy! Get a good sewing machine, they are not all created equal!

I love this beautiful pattern. It's like sitting on my balcony surrounded with my pretty flowers. I have never even attempted to make a quilt, but now that you can do it on a sewing machine, I would consider taking a course of some kind. I would love to design my own and forsure flowers,hearts and birds would be involved. :) You reside in Canada, wonderful! Toronto, Ontario by any chance? :) Beautiful, just beautiful. It makes me feel calm when I look at it.
