What materials did you use? Fabric fat quarters and yardage. Walking foot and free motion quilting foot

What are you most proud of? Each quilt that I make has some element of free motion quilting in it now. One more project under my belt, one more learning opportunity. My feathers may not be ready for prime time yet, but I will get there. I am NOT AFRAID ANYMORE.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun with it

I cannot even fathom quilting all those circles with a walking foot...seriously??? Sure makes you appreciate a free motion foot, doesn't it? :)) Congratulations on sticking with it and for a job VERY well done! :)

Thank you , Cindy. Completing this project gave me a big incentive to get friendlier with that free motion foot, for sure.

I love that matrix in between the circles.. That would have been the place I would have had a hard time finding a motif for. The whole thing looks great

Thanks. I have the same problem a lot of the time. I signed up for Angela Water's class on negative space and hope to do that after the holidays. Maybe that will help me figure out what to d
