DONATION

Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Other

Type of item: Clothing

For: Charity

Style: Eco-Friendly, Classic, Traditional, Cute, Holiday

What was your inspiration?

Cold winters, needy babies and toddlers, as well as poor elderly people.

After being knitting and crocheting, every single day, (average of 14 hrs. daily), during one whole year, God gave me the opportunity of crafting a total of 179 projects (by myself).

Most of the finished pieces were sold during a ONE DAY Charity sale,

What are you most proud of?

My goal, it was to be able to buy, at least 100 babies blankets, 400 baby diapers and 400 adult diapers.

Well, again God was magnanimous and I was able to afford a total of:
300 babies blankets; 300 toddlers blankets; 1,000 baby diapers and 2000 adult diapers.

Thanks to all the lovely people that did buy my stuff.

Thanks, but undeserved honor. The really amazing thing was that the customers loved the products and no one try to "bargain" with the prices, it was lovely.

Who would dare to "bargain" when they saw all the work you had done and realized what you were trying to accomplish with a year of self-sacrifice and goodness knows how much of your personal money put into yarn? They loved what you had done and had enormous admiration and respect for the woman who was trying to accomplish so much on behalf of others.
