What was your inspiration?
Our charity knitting group makes hat and lap blanket for chemo patients. Bright colours are cheerful. Also this is a stash buster, Many small balls of left over yarn and with this project, they are used.
What are you most proud of?
Learning how to solve picking up stitches in a uniform way by slipping the first stitch and purling the last stitch. And using a diamond shape and making the whole project come out with width and length fairly equal.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
