What was your inspiration?

My daughter received a new doll so I thought she should have a new quilt.

What are you most proud of?

It came out great. I used a lot of scraps from clothing I had made for my daughter. She's outgrown the clothes, but we sometimes look at the quilt and remember them together.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It's a free form crazy patch quilt. I didn't use a pattern, but pieced the blocks on muslin squares. Don't be afraid to create something new and totally original!!
