100 % cotton fabrics with fusible batting inside

What was your inspiration?

It was made for a doll quilt swap. I had the fabric strips left over from a table runner.

What are you most proud of?

I love the way it came out also how quick and easy it went together. I machine stitched in the ditch to quilt it. Also there is a flower motif quilted into the center square. I downloaded a quilt design flower pattern off the internet and printed it out. I pinned the paper onto the center and sewed over it to make the design. Then I just carefully removed the paper. I had to wet it in a few spots to keep from pulling the stitches. I like the way it came out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

My advise would be to just jump in and do it...if you are a new quilter then don't be afraid to make a project. Just keep practicing..... you will improve with each project.
