What was your inspiration?

My daughter wanted her American Girl doll to have headbands to match hers.

What are you most proud of?

That I figured out how to make my own doll size headband blanks that I could decorate to match each and every outfit!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Making the blanks is super easy. You can decorate them anyway you want, with ribbon, fabric, yarn, etc. The weaving is actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it, so if you want to try the weaving don't get discouraged if you don't figure it out the first time, Try again! Once you do it a few times you don't even have to think about it, your muscle memory takes over!
