What was your inspiration?
My family! Have been making tie blankets for many years and giving them away as gifts. Finally hubby and kids asked me to make them some. Hubby likes wolves, kids wanted dogs, cats and more dogs! Made one of the blankets with dogs on one side and cats on the other... the Huskies was for my daughter who dreams of getting a "real" husky someday! I hope the blanket is enought for a long time! :)
What are you most proud of?
These are easy and quick to make (made all 3 in one afternoon). They are also very practical and so snuggly!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Cutting mat, rotary cutter and ruler are your best partners in making these blankets! Keep the knots even as well.
