What materials did you use? Batiks, quilting cotton

What are you most proud of? The quilting turned out so great! I would never have thought to try to use a decorative stitch on my machine had Ms. Gering not mentioned that she did with her quilt! I'm also pretty chuffed with the binding. This was the first time I've sewn the back of the binding on by hand. I usually cheat and do it by machine...by hand looks much nicer and it wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Let go...be random...don't over think your pieces!

I really like the idea using a decorative stitch for quilting! It works so well on your quilt! It looks fab but so does your first version.

You're on a roll with this technique. I'm glad you like this better, but I loved the Brady Bunch one too! Interesting choice of decorative stitch for the quilting! I love that you're exploring those possibilities as well.

Yes, the quilting is really nice. I have been wondering about trying that myself and you give me the courage to try. Nice work!
