Starting. It was very intimidating to try and do the face of Christ.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I have made some 5-6 ft. long angels banners using what seems to be the same technique for faces. a few years ago. Your face of Jesus is the best that I have seen done this way. My came out okay as different ladies of our parish worked on the angels. Some were better at the stitching than others. I would like to talk a class doing this from you if you should ever decide to put on together on a website. Please let me know if that happens. silkembroider email: lafleurtx@earthlink.net

No. I don't have a pattern. I blew up an image to get the general outline.

I just blew up a picture and used that as my templet.

Divine Mercy my favorite. How in the world do you do this. You are amazing. I am thinking of trying to copy one of our stained glass windows for my sons ordination. I have four years left to try and attempt it. Your work is beautiful!

First of all...Congratulations on your son's upcoming Ordination. One thing about stain glass windows is that the lines are generally well defined.

This is really cool, you did a very good job of doing the face and having it turn out so great.
