Did you use baby weight yarn or worsted as the pattern specifies?

I did use baby yarn #3 weight. Ten spirals of one fpdc and a 4 dc cluster makes a newborn size of 12-13" circumference. Some colors are heavier or lighter so I end up with a range of sizes which is good for donations to the local hospital. This is the only one that I put the brim on, the others are in a separate listing, Divine Rainbow Caps.
