What materials did you use? Quilting cottons, HomeDec faux suede (red), Aurifil thread, Superior Monopoly (black), bamboo batting

What are you most proud of? Another UFP done! And I really like the result. I'm very comfortable now using Superior Monopoly and quilting in the ditch. With the addition of the quilt rack on the left side of my machine I'm confident I can quilt larger projects - and I have many.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go slowly! And give Ann's shelf fabric grabbers a try. I absolutely HATE quilting gloves and have at least five pair, hoping each one would make me happy. None ever have. The fabric grabbers are fantastic and the perfect solution for me. If you don't like gloves, give this a try. Be willing to experiment and try new things. I was experimenting however many years ago using a faux suede home dec fabric for my red. It works!

Nice job. Love the colors and the pattern too.

Thanks! I am pleased with how it turned out.

Brilliant idea with the painters tape on the Monopoly thread ends!!! Thanks for sharing that little tip.

I'm currently doing another quilt where I am using the clear Monopoly. Same issue - can't see the ends! My machine looks very funky ... I have little blue tapes fragments all over it! It makes things so much better!
