What materials did you use? Bits and pieces of kitchen cotton yarn stash I found in the inner recesses of my yarn stash cabinet, my new Schacht 15-inch Cricket rigid heddle loom, tapestry needle

What are you most proud of? I haven't taken the advanced rigid heddle loom class yet but tried the Brooks Bouquet stitch anyway, using Betty Linn Davenport's book, "Rigid Heddle Weaving." My samplers came out ok, I think. I'm also proud that after a few frustrating attempts I finally figured out how to do hemstitching! I must have done it correctly because I put the completed washcloths in the washer and dryer and they didn't fall apart! HURRAY!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you're considering learning to weave with a Rigid Heddle loom, I suggest you take Angela's wonderful class and go through all the exercises. I didn't have enough stash cotton yarn to make the two tea towels but I followed along and learned how I could warp once for two small projects. With 3 projects completed successfully, I'm ready to tackle the next weaving class on Craftsy and continue to explore and learn this intriguing craft. My advice to you is, GO FOR IT too!

Nice job! I'm having fun learning the basics right now. The 2nd class is worth it too. I love learning a new craft! :-)

I took the second class and its awesome. I might take this first class just for the kitchen towel lesson.

This is a great idea, stash bits for a completed, and usable project. I like it! They turned out great!
