What was your inspiration?

This quilt was made for my daughter's birthday. It contains her favorite colors and some of the fabrics represent things she loves such as traveling and the beach. The yellow favorite has plumerias which are her favorite flowers.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud that I was able to complete this project which was my first quilt within a very short timeline. I also am happy that I was able to machine quilt it on my own and and this project was completed without a single ripped stitch.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Give yourself plenty time and start with a smaller quilt especially if you plan to machine quilt in on a standard sewing machine.
