Materials

Moda Sandy Gervais Sudoko Quilt Fabric...first do the Sudoko puzzle then this gives you the placement for the pieces, but then I saw the D9Patch and changed to that! Then stippled it every second square and echo quilted around the flowers!@ YAY!!!!

What was your inspiration?

Jenny on my course! She is fantastic. Plus I learned how to do Sukoko puzzles

What are you most proud of?

This is quilt # 4 and whilst its a bit wonky, I just love the fresh colors and the clever design of the D9Patch...also I stipple quilted it again myself...

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Do the Craftsy course with Jenny and go for it....take notes whilst she talks..

I love this pattern also...a friend told me about it years ago and have been making them ever since....I use scraps to make mine...also used 5" blocks...love this pattern and you did a nice job.

i would say stippling is meandering. It's filling in the background with squiggles. Meandering loks like puzzle peices that don't ever touch and have no sharp corners.

I learned this from Jenny Doan's online quilting class. I am making one but putting it together so the seams don't need to be matched. It gives the quilt a completely different look.
