Materials

Batik fabric (Timeless Treasures 5" squares, green tea colors)--4 packages--brown batik (for centers), batting, backing-- Moda Marbles fabric (not shown.) Border is more of the brown batik and one of the colors from Timeless Treasures. The quilt top is 66" (w) by 78" (h)

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to make something using batik fabric and loved the mix of aqua and green.

What are you most proud of?

This was my first mitered corner border. Also, it was my first double border. I most proud of the border.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Choose a mix of fabrics that you love and don't be too methodical about arranging the squares. Have fun!
