Instructions

I wanted to make something specail for my daughter to take with her to study in Belize. I bought the "daughter quilt panel" from Clotide(?) then I just followed some on-line instructions for a disapearing 9 patch quilt. I made this a duvet cover so she could use it in the hot weather and cold.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Unisex

Style: Casual, Cute

Materials

1/2 metre of 9 different cotton fabrics in black & white

What was your inspiration?

the phrases on the "daughter quilt panel" I wanted something very special for my Daughter to take with her traveling

What are you most proud of?

this was done while we were "under construction" after our home flooded, I brought my sewing machine and all my supplies with me to 2 different "homes" My daughter actualy loved the finished project, and THAT is hard to do.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Go for it!!

I love the back of the quilt - where did you find that fabric?

I found a a little fabric store close to one of the "homes" we stayed at during our construction - pretty much just bought anything black & white, with one cream to match the verses.
