What was your inspiration?

My friend needed updated acting head shots but it was a really bright sunny day, far too bright to take any nice photos in the direct light. So thinking about the ways to avoid direct light we experimented with shots behind a wall and under a tree.

What are you most proud of?

I like the way that there is still plenty of light in the images to set the mood, but we avoided that harsh direct light.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take lots of photos and try a variety of angles as well as a few different spots within your location if possible. The trees and wall were about 5 metres from each other but make it look like a completely different setting.
