What materials did you use? Patuns ColorWul 5 bulky weight with boye size H metal hook

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Practice pays off. I used less expensive yarns to learn. My first few were not as nice but still fun to do and look at.

Well done. Yes practice pays off and determination too. I could never pick up crocheting but I wouldn't give up and after a long hall (being bedridden helped I have to admit) I finally cracked it. Haven't stopped since and you never stop learning as crochet evolves as does everything. Nothing stays static. My main advice is to enjoy.

Thanks for your encouragement and wisdom. I was definitely intimidated before taking these classes. I have been under the weather a few times since the new year so I've been on the couch practicing : )
