Instructions

This is a project that requires knowledge of intarisia and stranded colorwork knitting.
It's knitted flat, and sewn together.

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Toy

For: Unisex

Style: Classic, Eco-Friendly, Outdoorsy

Materials

approximately 1 ball of each -brown, grey, off white and off white with speckles yarn

What was your inspiration?

This started as a challenge - Can I knit the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake?
This is the result.

What are you most proud of?

How many people have told me how close to reality this knitted snake looks.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Read the entire instruction. There are two charts - one for the body and the second for the head.
It's not an easy project (something to do while watching TV), it requires your attention. However the result is great.

thank you for your compliment. I think to chart out the pattern for that particular type of snake shouldn't be that hard
