Different yarns require different size of needles. I noticed if thinner yarn, more detail shown then thicker ones.. Unless I am using different needles such as smaller for thick yarn. Would it make difference as well? That's where I need to play around to see which is better

The experimentation is the fun part! Amazing the difference in how "fine" the details are. Great job!
