What was your inspiration?
This was a City & Guils project and not my first quilt, but the first machine all over quilting project. We had been looking at diamond shaped blocks in class and I was intrigued by the negative spaces that appear, i.e. the purple stars in this case.
What are you most proud of?
I love the colours in this quilt and I only used fabrics that I could drool over.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You need to get your head around which bits of the "slices" of the diamonds adjoin which neighbouring bit.
