What materials did you use? Quilt, ruler, marking pencil, thread

What are you most proud of? That I was able to combine free motion quilting and template quilting in the same piece.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? You can do this on any machine with excellent results. I highly recommend this class, the teacher is fantastic!

great fish-I have thiis pattern but have not attempted it yet. I especially like the way you quilted the seaweeds and sky!

Would love to know how you cut and pieced the fish! Just outstanding!!!

This is a pattern from Quilts With A Twist by Lisa Moore. I traced the fish onto paper sided fusible web and used small (very sharp) scissors to cut it out. I was a little worried about the small cut outs but it was manageable.
