What was your inspiration?
The inspiration for this piece was Mrs. Elton's little reticule in Jane Austen's book, Emma. In the Regency Era, dresses didn't have pockets, so women carried these tiny bags instead.
What are you most proud of?
I love that it is all in one piece, and is a great project for knitters to learn colorwork.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure that there is enough contrast between the two colors to really make the crosses pop!
