What was your inspiration?
All the wonderful designs others have posted. I always wanted to make a handbag and thanks to Brett's class I did it!
What are you most proud of?
That I completed the bag. I found it very challenging and had to rip out the lining twice due to my own mistakes. The shoulder straps should have been a bit narrower, I decided to leave it but if bothers me I will redo them.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Go ahead and try it. If you have never made a bag before the Free Class on Tote Bags would be a help.
Don't give up even if you have to redo parts of your work.
