What was your inspiration?
I was inspired by the decorator fabric I found in the clearance bin at Hobby Lobby. I love the colors. I also found the faux leather in the same clearance bin.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the hardware. I have made many purses, but have not used hardware. It makes the handbag look very custom and professional.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
My advice would be to have patience when installing the hardware. The actual sewing of the bag was simple, but installing the hardware took me most of the afternoon.
