Yup, same monster! I used fingering weight, which made him tiny! My girls are 4 and 5, so not too concerned with swallowing- then again, I'm pretty laid back in general. The buttons are so small they would just go in one end and out the other without much danger. ;)

Are the 2 photos of the same monster. Gee he's small. Make a good keyring charm. If the 1st one is for a child I rather sew with yarn the eyes as buttons are so easy to swallow. I know one of my daughters would swallow anything and even things you'd never think would fit. Yep she's a big mouth. Ha ha The girls I'm with in photo are my granddaughters and have my idea of owl and pussycat (like rhyme) I made of leftover wool. This was about 4yrs ago now. This monster I want to make is for their new brother.
