Instructions

I simply tore some old jeans up, used one leg for the rug back. Cut 4" wide strips of denim. Using your sewing machine set to the longest stitch (or you may do this step by hand), and stitch straight down the middle. Holding one end of the strip and one thread, pull the other end carefully from the top to create a ruffle. Pin to the rug backing, and zig-zag stitch up the middle of the ruffle. ...
