I cut 2 legs of my old jeans and sweat pants to use for this project.

I use Jeans/denim needle and zipper foot to finish.

What was your inspiration?

My husband wanted to buy a laptop case and I just learned how to install zipper from a friend. So I suggested making one. I chose jeans for men. (Man, I have a lot of old jeans in boxes saving with the hope of losing weight after having my baby.)

What are you most proud of?

I finished it in one night. I'm very slow. And I don't want to put it off because whenever I did, I could never finish it. Now I have 4 or 5 UFOs.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I should have added 2 inches for each size because my husband's laptop is quite thick. Though my jeans are stretch but I'm afraid the seams will not stand long. So I ended up by adding more fabric at the bottom (which made it longer to finish and look quite bulky).
