What are you most proud of? That much of the top stitching looks nice and that I did the buttonholes manually with my old machine and they look fine! I had to alter to fit though the waist and hips, but it looks good now.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The instructions with the pattern are good, and the Craftsy video course helps a lot with some of the tougher details. Just take your time, and don't forget to get measured for sleeve length before cutting out your fabric. I also got away with less fabric than the pattern called for, in part because I used a cotton shirting for pocket and cuff linings as well as the inner yoke. I used less than 3 yards, and it called for 3.25 in my size.

Love it,it looks great on you. I agree it is not a pattern I would have chose either but now that I see it on you I'll have to try it as well. I have a full bust and have never been a fan of pocket placement in the bust area but it suits the jacket. Thanks for sharing. L

You did a great job altering the pattern and your topstitching is excellent too! Happy Sewing, Janet
