What was your inspiration?
I sew for a the daughter of a co-worker. They go camping alot and I've really wanted to do something "woodsy" like denim lined in red flannel. Now she can look like a mini lumberjack.
What are you most proud of?
This and the overalls that go with it really are adorably cute.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Proceed with caution when attaching the hood. The front edges of the hood should NOT line up with the center front of the jacket. The pattern instructions give no guidance as to placement of the hood and there are no markings on the pattern. I guess you are just supposed to wing it. Unfortunately for me, this wisdom comes from hind-sight.
