Pattern Info

Pattern info for this project can be found here:
Cluster Hat »

Instructions

For the cluster hat I changed the bottom half of it but the first part of it was from allicrafts.blogspot.com. I also made a preemie one which is in the middle of the picture.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Children

Style: Classic, Cute

Materials

Caron Simply Soft Yarn

What was your inspiration?

Two new babies!

What are you most proud of?

That I did the cluster hat and booties. I had been keeping the hats and booties simple by using a basic hat pattern and adding a different edge each time, but I wanted to try something different and I was able to do it - it built up my confidence some and I'm ready to do more!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid to change the pattern some. Add a different edge, different flower, or instead of a flower sew on buttons - let you imagination run free.

I''m an experienced crocheter and I crochet newborn baby hats for charity. These look cute. How can I get the instructions? I'm new to this website.

The pink and white one is just a regular hat pattern and I added a boarder. The other one I got off a wonderful blog I follow. It's allicrafts.blogspot.com. Crochetpatterncentral.com has a lot of free hat patterns to try. I'm glad you mentioned crocheting for charity because I do too and I need to post some and when I do I'll mention th charity too.

http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/bevsbooties2.html this is where I got the basic pattern but I changed the boarder at the top of the bootie to match the hat.
