What materials did you use? McCall's Quick Quilt kit found in the Feb/Mar 2013 issue; Quilted using some of Leah Day's quilting designs, stippling, swirls, flames, McTavishing, daisy, etc. These were done on my APQS George machine using Superior Magnifico #40 top thread, Bottom Line-bobbin.

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of the fact that I was able to get it done. It was challenging to work with, but once it was done, I felt I had accomplished a lot. I was able to incorporate some of the things that I had learned in various Craftsy classes, and I used some of my own ideas in the quilting as well as Leah Day's and others. Thank you.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I basically followed the pattern, I numbered my fabrics and then I used and followed my numbers in the cutting sequence. I actually cut all of the fabric before I began to sew. I then separated my fabrics into plastic bags, which were also numbered, so I could keep up with the sequence. Some of the pictures were very similar, so this helped when I was putting my blocks together. I also did all of each block and kept them separate. I think the most important thing was to be consistent and to be organized.
