Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Traditional

Materials

Fabric, insulbrite, batting, embroidery design, embroidery machine, thread.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted a gift for someone setting up house keeping. I also made some matching dish towels.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure to layer the insulbrite according to instructions.

Question -- this is just amazing -- did you come up with your own thread colors or did you go by the one from the pattern? I have a huge "thing" with windmills. My father was born in the Netherlands. That is well done.

I downloaded the color chart when purchasing the design and matched the colors up as close as I could with the brand of embroidery thread that I already have.
