What materials did you use? Cotton fabric, batting, Decor Bond, utility cloth, zipper

What are you most proud of? The pockets. Also, I included a rosette on the flap made from a mans tie. In the event that she did not like that element, I constructed the flap with interesting fabrics so that she could remove the rosette and still have an attractive flap.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? You will love the process. You will absolutely love using your bag.

Tara, your class was amazing. Your class is such a positive force - one that delivered a huge amount of joy and creative inspiration into my life. Ever day I try to select clothes to wear that will complement my bag because using it simply enhances my day. I have dreams of many more bags for myself as well as gifts.

All of these are absolutely gorgeous! The combination of fabrics on each bag is stunning. And those roses--love them!
