What materials did you use? Specially bought crafter's cotton...alas not from my enormous stash.

What are you most proud of? The classy, cool colour combination and the fabulous geometric fabric which reminds me of frost on a windowpane.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do it, its (almost) foolproof!!

This is a beautiful combination of fabric - can't wait to see the finished quilt !

Isn't it just??!! I knew I wanted to use the geomatric print which reminds me of frost on window-panes and pink diamonds and when I found the pebble print it was love at first sight!

I love the color combo. The materials are beautiful. Did you find at a quilt shop?

12/11/2013 Flag

Sadly, yes! However I have found a way to quilt the Opus on my tiny machine!!! I'm going to ;tie' it with lots and lots of little mother of pearl buttons!!! and machine quilt the borders (which I will be able to reach. Brilliant!

Just to let you know; after my tongue in cheek comment 'Sadly yes' I typed several pound signs, to indicate cost (I have a huge stash of '90's fabrics which are unmatchuppable so am always running out mid project as I never have quite enough to make a full anything) which did not post.

Yes, I agree with everyone. The two fabrics are so excellent together!
