Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This 60th birthday cake was ordered by Shari's friends for a "Decades of Shari's Life" themed birthday party and game night. This cake is made of two 4 layer hexagon shaped cakes, 6" and 12". Both cake tiers are covered in chocolate fondant. Each side of the hexagon is adorned with a likeness of Shari from each decade of her 60 years. Shari's friends supplied me with information about Shari's life, hobbies, and interests along with pictures of Shari from each decade.

What are you most proud of? The figures....a few months ago I was frustrated with my figures. I took Anne Heap's class on figure modeling a few weeks ago, and now I am very proud of how my figures look. I'm actually spending less time making the figures now, but they are turning out 10X better. Thanks Anne!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take Anne's class. Also, you really need to make very petite figures with small bosoms. Once you dress her, she'll look big enough.

Two of my images say "No image available". Click onto it. There really are two more Sharis there!
