What was your inspiration?
The birth of my first grandchild.
What are you most proud of?
Initially I was going to use an alternative edging as the one in the pattern seemed too complicated. I decided to give it a try - had a few goes at getting it started. I am so pleased I persevered as it finishes the blanket off beautifully.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I photocopied the charts and coloured each row as I completed it. This meant that I knew exactly which row I was up to.
