What materials did you use? Marea by Dear Stella. The collection merges classics (damasks and geos) with whimsy (feathers, vintage blossoms, and butterflies). It?s a classic theme with a touch of modern day Stella! Pattern is by Maple Island Quilts and part of Nancy's Notions Big Block Quilts. Aurifil 60 weight threads, Schmetz Metallic 80/12 needles

What are you most proud of? That I am going to tackle machine quilting this 98" x 116" monster on my domestic sewing machine. Also proud my quilt was featured by Craftsy.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The pattern is very nice to work with. Not that many pieces but remember with so few pieces no wiggle room for errors. Take your time.

You should be proud of all your hard work! I am inspired to get into quilting one day. (I hope).
