What was your inspiration?

I really needed a way to keep track of all my little sewing tools while I was travelling, and when I found my old Daytimer from highschool, inspiration struck. I think I bought it around 1996, and it cost me a little over $100 at the time. That was a lot for a 16-year-old to spend on a single item back then. Which is probably why I never threw it out...

What are you most proud of?

I love that I was able to make something useful, and that I actually really needed, out of a much loved but now rather obsolete item already in my home.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you don't already have an old agenda kicking around the house (What? You're not a total packrat like me?!), then check out your local thrift store. I see them there all the time!
