What was your inspiration?

I love working with Day of the Dead fabric. I have been collection and building quilts with them for years. I love the colors and the joy found in the images. The idea of honoring our dearly beloved that have passed. I know my Mom and Dad are dancing somewhere and so I guess, in building each quilt, I honor them.

What are you most proud of?

The overall appeal of this quilt

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Trust in yourself. Find a theme and build from the inside out and have fun Do what you love and love what you do then the quilt can't help but have joy and style and make you smile... after all, isn't that why we create?
