I designed this quilt using EQ7 and printed out a picture of it to be able to figure out how many HST I needed and more easily follow the layout. I constructed this in rows. What was your inspiration?
I love geometric patterns and knew that I could achieve a cool design with Half Square Triangles. I wanted to make a quilt for my step-son for his birthday so he picked out the colors and I gave him three design options. He chose this one.
What are you most proud of?
I love how the colors work together and that I was much more successful at matching my points than I've been in the past! Practice makes perfect (or better) :o).
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just take your time when joining your rows so your design comes out the way you want. This is not too difficult to sew together.
