What was your inspiration?
I absolutely loved the "wrapping paper" inlay style fondant technique. It didn't come out as good as I'd like but I'm overly critical of myself. I always want to make it "better". And by the way, the Mocha fondant was AMAZING!!!!
What are you most proud of?
The surprise look on my daughters face when I walked into her office (while it was pouring rain out) with the cake~and the smell she kept mentioning of the Mocha was AMAZING!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You can do it, just follow directions & practice, practice, practice. I needed a cake in a pinch & this was my favorite one Marina made. I don't have the experience to make all the cakes & tiers but I will someday!
