Instructions

It was relatively easy to put together, and I think a newbie to patterns wouldn't have too much difficulty. I have to stand up really straight to wear this, otherwise the top part sags a teeny bit both in front and back. I would need to adjust this next time I made it, if I do. I have so many patterns to get to, that I doubt I will!

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Funky, Casual, Mod, Whimsical, Cute

Materials

I used a cheap cotton fabric from Hancock that is called "data", but looks kinda more like a crossword puzzle board!

What was your inspiration?

Um, just the pattern cover? Looked like a cute little mini-dress, of which I'm a big fan!

What are you most proud of?

I'm a walking crossword puzzle. I should wear this carrying around a Sharpie.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Not much. It's pretty straight-forward!

That's weird, cuz when I filled this out, it asked for the pattern and I filled it in! It's butterick 5601. Thanks for the sweet comments!

I wouldn't use a sharpie - I'd use one of those wash-out fabric markers. That way, you could have a different puzzle each time you wear it!
