What materials did you use? Dark grey polar fleece

What are you most proud of? You can't really see it in the photo, but I'm really proud of the top stitching around the neckline and the hems. I've always been terrible at top stitching and avoided it where possible. This time I just took a breath and concentrated on keeping it even and it worked! I also adjusted the pattern pieces slightly, as it was originally going to be for my husband. I must have known when I started it that it's a female pattern, because I got out my French curve and straightened out the side seams when I traced it. Fortunately, it worked out really well, even though the shoulders and arms were still too small for my husband. On me, it drapes in a really flattering manner that hides my belly if I've had a big lunch, but somehow still makes me look slender! A win on all accounts!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It really depends on your sewing skills. If you're starting from scratch, watch the lesson through from start to finish first. Find your fabric on sale so that it's nice enough to put the effort into but also kind of cheap so that you aren't constantly worried about stuffing it up. As Meg says in the class, fleece is very forgiving, so I definitely recommend using it for a starter project and moving up from there. If your skills are more advanced, this is a lovely fun project for a long autumn afternoon!
