Do you sell this cake? Yes

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This was my first tiered cake and only the second time I had iced a cake, and the first time I had made sugar flowers. To add just a bit more pressure, it was for my daughters wedding!

What are you most proud of? My flowers and The cakes tasted great which was a relief. Two bottom tiers were rich fruit, third and forth were pound cake and top tier was a dummy.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Get a man to help carry it. It was very heavy. Make the fruit cakes well in advance and feed with brandy. Make flowers in advance to relieve some pressure.

Lovely cake. How did you stick on all those beautiful roses?

Hi Thank you. The very large roses were in flower picks with Royal icing underneath to give extra support. I had to "scaffold" a couple of them with chop sticks until the royal icing had completely hardened.
