Beautiful Job!!! Tell me how you did the rhinestone peices.

The rhinestone pieces are actual broaches that the bride found at antique stores. Just "glued" them in place with royal icing.

This cake is SO elegant and beautiful and BIG. I can't imagine how large of a function this is with this size cake. It says this cake is part of a piping course but the work seems to be more stenciling. How did you achieve the lace effect on the bottom and the second tiers in particular? Then, the other tiers, are they stencils, molds or piping work?

Hi thank you for your feedback. This was for a big Italian wedding. There were 350 people there and it was overkill but the bride wanted a BIG cake. They didn't even get through the bottom tier! The whole thing is a stencil set from Designer Stencils. I believe it's called the Damask Set. Just royal icing that I dusted with pearl lustre dust afterward to make it sparkle. It was my first time stenciling and was a bit tricky.
